Does an admin have a log of the crash with any specific error message? (not sure if Q2 does dump map-related errors to console/logfile)

I could cut down on the brush/tris count... I think I pushed the engine too far with the geometry. It'd also give me an opportunity to fix the other couple of small issues with the map overall.

I'm not sure what the problem is. When the map was first put on the servers it always crashed, but then someone fixed it. I just think that it wasn't done on T4.

Is it just me or shouldn't I be able to play a map that might be picked? I've never played it one, and two, when I try to lately it crashes. Let's either fix it now or take it off list.

I think it's fair we make it public who and how much people contribute.

Strange, I thought I had manually moved the map over there. Maps don't get auto-sync'd to east.tastyspleen.net due to hard drive space limitations. It appears just the map override is there, but not the bsp itself.

Fixing...

I also cannot access this map since its crashing on me. Lets remove it from the list and use the 3rd most popular map. I think this is best.

Can you play bloodrun on all major servers now? Barton and I played it on saturday.... it's a cool map... but quad wouldn't turn on? Maybe look into this... we were either on dfil or tourney.. can't remember.

even before quadz posted I was sure this(and these) problem(s) were easily fixable.......and they likely all are....

they were the most popular maps in the vote guys, idk what to tell ya but as of now this isn't reasoning for changing the map pool. I would have had dm7 over torment in the pool, but it's whatever. in the long run i don't think the 5th map is going to determine the outcome of any match. even individual skill alone, or teamplay alone, won't determine the outcome of the later matches in bracket.

anyway, I actually typed of the entire sign-up thread with rules and info this morning, then accidentally deleted it............................. . . . .. .. . .so, it'll be up soon. Do y'all prefer the first weekend of june(1,2,3) or the following for it to happen on?

Also, donation info can be discussed with me in IRC or PM... I'll probably setup a paypal account specifically for it. I can write out some kind of receipt perhaps, make the amount you plan to donate public, etc. etc.

Would be best to double check with themuffinman. He might have no included quad on his map, but if we really wanted quad we could always add it with a quick override.

i think the ffa styled beta had quad. dunno about the tdm one.

overrides are quick and easy tho. if y'all want it there, it can be done in seconds

yep, the map has quad by default. if the map name in console has 'tourney' in it, then it's using the override without the quad.

if the admin(s) wanted, they could scrap the override and just have +/-pu votable. apart from the quad, there's not much difference between the default and tourney layouts.

having quad but voting it out is the way tourney players would prefer it anyway

the old school osptourney and opentdm both have that ability, and if you can find a server running anything else, maybe you should consider if you want to play on it at all
