Apparently Gary J is polling 13% when he's in the equation. I'm sure they'll find a way to keep him out of the debates even if he meets the criteria, else he'd actually cause trouble for trump and Hillary.

At this point I am almost willing to bet that they knowingly plagiarized Michelle Obama's speech assuming that nobody in the entire arena would have actually listened to the words of that uppity negress in the past, and they'd be completely unable to make the connection.

Almost everything else about that campaign recently has seemed to me like they forgot about it being a race for a national office elected by people of all political parties, and that they're still laboring under the assumption that this is the republican primaries. There is no way that some responsible person in the entire staff has been unable to do the basic math which says "Having considerably less cross party appeal than Mitt Romney = Less than the 48% of the vote he pulled"

Mitt may have been one of the whitest people to come out of Detroit in recent history, but he could still pull some Latino vote. Trump will be getting jack shit from them after he's based half his campaign on outright demonizing them.

This shouldn't be news since they've known it for years now, but you can't win national elections by ignoring and antagonizing the fastest growing groups of voters in the country.

Even our glorious black dictator said so:

"Should I win a second term, a big reason I will win a second term is because the Republican nominee and the Republican Party have so alienated the fastest-growing demographic group in the country, the Latino community."

If you split the republican party down the middle and shit all over their values and platform, and you can't get a sizeable portion of the democrats to vote for you, or women, or latinos, or black people, no amount of independent middle finger "swing" voters is going to get you to 51%.

With an understaffed and even number supreme court you can't even expect to Bush your way into office.

I remember in my teens I was fishing up at my parent's house in the local mountains and I had a whole bucket of little panfish that I'd caught and cleaned, then tossed the heads and guts in a bag in the tin shed out front. A couple hours later as the night came on, I saw the motion sensor porch light come on and went to check it out..

There were 4 raccoons that looked to be about 30 lbs a piece literally peeling the metal shed door back like the top of a sardine can, and no amount of waving a stick at them and hollering would get them to move out. I decided to let them have the fish guts, it wasn't worth getting my face torn off.

I'm increasingly convinced the "participatory" grading system has impaired the education today's graduates are receiving. I'm not sure about the reporting in this case but I see a lot of bad grammar and spelling in news items posted on the news web sites and the authors and editors are largely under 40. I have concluded this is not merely the rush to publish but represents inexperience and carelessness. I was told once that newspapers are written at a 6th grade level. Evidently sixth grade isn't what it used to be.
