its just r1q2 crashing glitches

it happens to my client occasionally too, some times more often than others, but alpha's has been crashing a lot lately lol

alphas armour hax and weapon stopper caused his q2 to crash

could have somethin to do with modified models? i dont have any modified models at all and dont crash often at all

i don't have any modified files. don't fail any checks apart from saying i have a modified crackhore.tris or whatever it is and i don't even have a crackhore model or skin. i use whats ion my pak. not even the textures now i just use the pak and the brightskins

^ My post in this link has a download link to that tris.md2 file. Copy the file to baseq2/players/crakhor
(Create the folder if you don't have it. Without the skins you won't see the model ingame anyway, but it will stop that modified shit warning.)

Just recently and randomly the aclist me as failing this file check.   The skin is there also.

since i updated my driver for my video card my r1q2 hasn't shut down so far (fingers crossed that was the problem), also it seems that tris file worked aswell.

it did drop out again earlier today, so idk wtf is going on with it. cbf anymore to try and sought it out. something is obviously wrong with it. I have uninstalled r1q2, reinstalled, i have updated my drivers, tried playing without anticheat. so meh just over it

To clarify, it still crashes with no error message, even when anticheat.dll is removed from your Quake2 folder?

it happens to me too, occasionally.
its the same as you type "quit", the client just disappears without any reason.
but its very rare to happen!

well i only did play without it for about an hour with an alias before i started getting accused of cheating, so i didn't bother trying it for longer
