I can't test it myself, so I dunno if it's really working yet.

I've been trying to log on to the Q4 server, but it keeps saying "No map running".

I was hoping to do a little hurricane fragging, while I still got power.

Played a 1v1 on the Q4 DM server.

At one moment there was pause/lag during the game, the rest was perfect.

Q4 multiplayer is fun. I doesn't replace Q2 at all.

I agree Cooperative play is missing from Doom3 and Quake4 -- even if it were LAN only with no cutscences it would be great. Likely they didn't include it because the games are so scripted and they try to reduce the total number of active baddies.

Q4 Multiplayer is arcade fun. Bliptourney (where people play simultaneoulsy in a multi-round 1v1 tourney) is great. The Q4 rail does seem to be easy to hit.. perhaps because Q4 maps are more compact so the models are relatively bigger.

What I hated most about DOOM 3 single player were the damn cut scenes. WTF? Now Q4's also got it. DOOM and Quake should not have goddamn cutscenes, or complicated storylines, as with D3.

i hate that.. i miss the old toss-as-many-monsters-at-em approach.. though new games like Serious Sam and Painkiller (i think thats the one) got that covered pretty well.. i remember yelling and screaming playing DOOM on the hardest diffuculty with monster respawn... now THAT was hard
