oh aye I should have clarified, I was just using the term crap as a general collection not describing it

carlsberg and carling are both decent but they are far more commonly drunk here than newcastle, e.g. noone brings a crate of newcastle to a party heh.

To me, lime makes almost any beer worse (and I actually love lime). I just really like the taste of beer (this is why I didn't list cherry wheat under my favorite sam adams beers - they went slightly overboard on the cherry taste imo). If I'm unlucky enough to be drinking a Corona I'll sometimes have it with a lime since Corona is the most overrated, overpriced, unnecessarily bitter and tasteless beer on earth to me lol. Corona is made by Modelo. Try the Modelo beer. Same price, similar but soooo much better.

no beer needs fruit. people who put orange slice or lemon slice in blue moon are fruits themselves. I don't even like fruit in my mixed drinks, when my jack n diet comes with a lime in it, i use to toss it in the ash tray (when you could smoke in bars here), now i toss it right on the bar or table for the help to pickup. NFF!

Im currently drinking beer (cuz on friday they buy beer for employees here at work

) and im trying for the first time: BUD LIGHT LIME.

TASTE LIKE GREEN SHIT!!! Lime???? more like lime soap smell, this beer is total shit. THe lime taste is so artificial, a milwaukee's best is better than this...

That's why I prefer the german imports, most of them still abide by the old Reinheitsgebot, the German Purity Law of 1516 that says the only ingredients that can be used in beer are water, barley, wheat, and hops.
