Yes, it's in the art/music section. I believe this beer to be so uniquely delicious that not only does it deserve it's own thread, but it deserves to be labeled as a work of art. Who here agrees?

If you haven't tried this beer than you have never truly lived.

It's certainly one of the best in my book as well. Though my one problem with it is, it's drink ability when it's warm. Some beers you can stomach warm, new castle, is not one of them.

If god was tempting me with hot naked women in 1 corner and satan was holding up an exceptionally ice-cold 12 pack of newcastle in the other... I'm pretty sure my primitive instinct would be too overwhelming to ignore, I would go with satan.

Pretty much my favorite thing in the world. It's comparable to my feelings towards extremely high quality weed. At certain times I put 1 over the other.

Strange ive never tried it!

I guess ill have to stop at some beer stores in ottawa or here in quebec at the SAQ, since i havent seen any in the "depanneurs" here.

Im not sure if this is in the same beer family, but beers from unibroue are also amazingly tasty and unique, especially the Don-De-Dieu (9% alcool) and Éphémère aux Pommes (Apple beer)

If you ever tried Leffe beer, beers with lots of aromas and flavour, you would like these beers.

I'm not too much on the extremely flavorful beers sinner, although I can drink and still appreciate most of anything. Newcastle is a lighter dark beer with a slightly mild taste. It sounds extremely generic, but there's really nothing else like it.. hence 'the one and only'

I've gotten into dark beer the during past year or so. When I feel like having a different dark beer just to remind me how much better newcastle is than everything else, I usually go with dos equis amber or st. pauli girl special dark. Neither are bad for the price around here.. but damn, newcastle is expensive.

Ah good ole Maudite. Been drinking a lot of the Granville Island brews recently. Stocked up on their Winter Ale. So good. Has a hint of vanilla and chocolate in the after taste.

Newcastle is actually the only beer that I prefer in the bottle than on tap.
