No offense but nothing shits me off more than wanting to play dm1-dm8 rotation and someone mymapping stupid maps. I like the old dm1-8. Just like vanilla players like the stock maps.

Vanilla does fine with 'mymap' of any of multiple dozen carefully selected custom maps.

If you feel 'shitted' by a maximum of one-in-five custom map on dm, ye might wish to get y'r OCD in check.

I've no sympathy for the likes of y' (apart from y'r sad apparent lack o' ability to appreciate classic custom maps, FOOK.)

I love the custom maps there. What I don't like about DM is +PU but I don't expect to see that going away.

Xatrix as a whole and the FOX server in particular are very community based, and the community is centered around him. Unless he himself plays on it, the other players that always play with him when he's online will not bother with it; you'd be sitting on an empty server. It's not a matter of a community being divided under 4 or 5 servers, it's a matter of the one server that he (exterminader) chooses to play on and invite people over to. There's very little that you, as one single person who isn't a regular can do about it.
 
This is just from what I've personally observed and experienced before, and I'd say that I know how the community works inside and out. If you aren't willing to to conform to a playing style, attitude, or skin that he doesn't like, you won't be playing xatrix at all, even if he didn't have his own server. People just started focusing on him kicking and banning people, even though he could easily do the same thing if he really doesn't like you before he got his own server. His influence in the community will make sure that everyone will be playing on a server that you're not on at all times. Personally, it's not something I agree with or condone, but you're going to have to live with it. There is no xatrix community without him.

Wow! If that's not the definition of an evil fuck I don't know what is.

For me Q2 is the only online game that no matter what I would always go back to.

I don't care if my dealer's shards would keep me up for 3-4 days for only $20, RA2 isn't that important. In other words, how about we start earlier, like 6PM, until whatever the fuck. I love RA2 but don't feel like being up all night just to launch rocket after nade into 2dum's anal cavern.

Can we get one? There's plenty of empty servers no one plays on. Why a new one? Because EXTERMINADER owns the one we got and bans people left and right just because he has an inverted dingling. If we get a new one his should become FOX2.

Seems like most people don't welcome the random non-stock maps anymore, at least not enough to go to the server where they all are. If you put a bunch of the mutant favorites on DM or Vanilla and then stuck them in the rotation, people would probably play them and like them.

I did that. Most of the newest custom vanilla maps are there because of me (trdm04a, ven_dm2, paradm4...). We need to add some more though as well as get rid of a few imo.

Yeah, I see you, Jehar and FK every once in a great while. That's about everybody that comes to mind right now.

I actually played with Gator and Deathstalker (was that his name? lol) about 6 months ago.

Its fucked up but no one plays there anymore. I don't get vanilla and DM players always playing the same old maps. We got MUTANT, god damn it! I miss the good old days - 12+ player matches and the excitement of the thousands of mostly unknown maps. I have 3684 mutant maps on my computer while people still play base02. It makes no fucking sense. It would be awesome if we replace vanilla with mutant and see how people react.
