I'd recomend the following system, Intel Core2 systems are a beast at the moment (coming from a previous AMD fanboy here!!)

CPU http://www.ebuyer.com/product/148715 Intel E5200
Mobo http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146717 Asus P5B SE
RAM http://www.ebuyer.com/product/98710 Corsair 2GB XMS
Case http://www.ebuyer.com/product/127584 Coolermaster 330 Elite (yes same one as before, i have one myself)
HDD http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131301 Seagate 250GB 16MB Cache
PSU http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131052 Corsair VX450

Should Whip that Athlon X2 system you posted.

If you really wanna go AMD X2 i suggest you swap the CPU/Mobo for these

Hey

i'd like to think we've become friends over the year or so i've known you (MSN and the odd DooM session) but wow this was really a shock reading this, dint expect any of this. maybe you know some of my history, i too suffer with mental health issues (Bipolar Affective Disorder + Schizoid Personality) and some physical problems (Fibromyalgia) so i too use the internet for as much lulz as i can get from it as you are well aware my friend :) and mostly killing imaginary monsters (Doom) and currently because of the fibromyalgia i'm going to the gym 4x a week for 2 hours a day to try and improve my general health.

one thing i will say tho, is try and get some kind of medication, believe me its worth it, before my bipolar was diagnosed my life was like a fucking roller coaster, from wrist slitting depressed to ultra super mega happy at the flip of a switch.

good luck Xtyfe, now i know why you said you had tons of time to play Doom :)

Actually, I will say something about me and dreaming..

firstly I pretty much only dream if I fall asleep with my ipod on, (even though if I do that, I won't hear my alarm, thus be late for college - I don't do it on purpose!), but compared to when I used to not even listen to music, the dreams are much more vivid.. is that even possible? the music influencing the dream? I tend to remember most/a lot of the dreams I do have..

another thing I find, is if i'm thinking about something a lot while i'm going to sleep, I tend to dream about something like that..

it helps you dream because your mind is more awake.

and for anyone who's tried, Lucid Dreaming = FUCKING WIN but Astral Projection OWNZ Both (used to do it alot, and Self induced Lucid dreaming)

"Lemonzest from the crap you spit in IRC to me your experience and knowledge of Windows or computers in general is limited."

I run a server os for my daily use, mainly because i beta test for Microsoft, i run most consumer stuff like IE7 and WMP11 on it, and other things that are XP ONLY and disallow use on Server OS's, i make add ons for nLite and also provide help on MSFN/Neowin, don't mistake spelling and grammar errors for stupidity because you'll be greatly mistaken. been using pc's from the GEM/MSDOS 3.1 days, know windows inside and out.

and to make it easy for j00 1337 hax0rs here's my dns, lemonzest.no-ip.com

ROFL

I suggest you google my name
