hey guys,
i have got an problem with "bobbing". when i started an own multiplayer match i have no bobbing ingame, but when i join some internet server my model, weapon and so on is bobbing like hell. i cant find an answer, because in my autoexec are the following commands

set bob_pitch             "0" 
set bob_roll             "0"
set bob_up             "0"
set run_pitch             "0"
set run_roll             "0"

what is wrong? hope to finde some help here.

hi together,
i have some really nice skins for my quake, thx @elysium for helping me at this point, but when i play TDM i only see the same skin for both teams, it is unplayable because i cant see if the player for my eyes is an friend or an enemy  :shifteyes: have i to do some settings in my autoexec to fix this? or what must i do to let this work?

thanx a lot to the creators of both fast install versions, it really gets me fast in it again and i am very happy with it. ich found some decent brightskins in the kickstarter version, but i like more to use the r1q2 one. it is possible to use this brightskins in r1q2? it isnt a pak.file and when i copied in the baseq2 directory it wont work. but it works in the baseq2 directory of the kickstarter installversion. some help?

hi all,
i downloaded the q2 kickstarter, based on apqr2 engine, from this side http://shoutcast.tastyspleen.net/?page_id=744
and now i got an problem i started the game take my resolution settings and binds to play, no problem so far. when i started to jumpstrafeing my speed couldnt gain, it feels like i am holding back by pressing the duck key. i looked in the autexec and find an duckjumpscript, i deleted it and started the game new, but the problem is still the same. there are any solutions for me to do?

and i have an other quastion, i downloaded the quake 2 starter from here http://q2s.tastyspleen.net/
this is based on r1q2 engine, fine too as i think. i set my config perfect and put the paks i needed, but 2 things i didnt like, i just want to have the nice bright-green-skins that i found in the q2 kickstarter, based on apqr2. i put this file named "brightplayers" in my baseq2 directory but it didnt work under r1q2 engine. it is possible to make this skins work under r1q2. and the last think i dont like my backcon, there are some to download? the backcon problem is not so importent, just want to mention it.

hi all,
i am surching for this textures, in the video. clau has in his youtube discription the downloadlink for the .paks, but the textures are not in it. does anyone know where i can get this? the cellshading effect works fine by me.
