i havn't logged in too much since for a few years. i've been in my own world so to speak. i just found out now about this. can't believe i didn't see something pinned to this post! was he in bad health, how did it happen?? quadz was always the competitive type to me for a while. i always felt like he was treating me a tad unfairly on some things. i think it was just the stress & tension that he was dealing with & all our bullshit is why he replied in such a fashion. although over the years it became much more friendly. he was always willing to lend a hand with advice (time permitting) to help me out.
i really feel bad that i didn't notice this earlier. he was cool guy, supported quake 2 for a long time & entertained us, scolded us (when necessary) & supported us through the years. us youngings, who turned old fuckers been around for more than 20 years! we always had a place to play our favorite mods. he was always impartial when it came to smack talk feuds. even though i may not have agreed with his every decision at the time. he still had the cooler head more than most of us. he will be missed. it's sad one of ours had to go so soon. member of the community. RIP i considered him a friend, even if we didn't play together that much. i remember some 64 player events he would participate in. good times.
i want to share some personal messages i had with console, quadz over the years if that's ok. i'd encourage anyone to keep his memory alive so you show your personal messages or controversial posts also if you like.

Aloha, what about the ratings. you omittied addressing that part. obviously there seems to be an issue for some reason or another. care to elaborate
(Sorry for the delay, been busy with work.)
The new rating system is still experimental, and i'm trying to see if I can prevent some of the usage patterns that happened on the previous systems.
I felt you were over-using the "troll" rating, but my attempt to fix that was to move "troll" to neutral.
Then I saw you'd marked one of my posts as "absurd misconstrual of scientific principles or evidence" which was bizarre and reminded me I had already had to recategorize 'troll' due to your usage pattern, so it seemed easiest to limit your account to neutral ratings only.
But again, the system is still experimental, so who knows. It's also supposed to be fun, so it's hard to know how much to care about accuracy of ratings.
Thoughts?
