hello everyone, ive read posts refering to this awsome mod known as freeze tag, its a really fun teamplay mod with a swinging grappling hook, the premise is you have two teams fighting it out, when an opponent dies he gets frozen, if the whole team gets frozen they lose, however you can unfreeze your team mates by standing by them long enough, this brings in alot of strategy as you can pull your frozen team mates around with the grappling hook, you can drag them to a safe spot and unfreeze them

now the question is, would any of you be interested in implementing this mod into the tasty spleen server line up? i see DM getting little to no activity whatsoever, but i think a freeze tag mod with its perks would draw in new players, as well as the old school freeze taggers who i am communicating with, the long retired EoD clan would be willing to make a return to freeze tag if we implement it into the server standing, Matto aka Jungle Babe worked on the final version of freeze tag and is willing to share his server configuration with the admins of tasty spleen, for one of his final versions he also implemented an important new change:

freeze tag arena, i know alot of people wanted a rocket arena 2 server up but the server wasnt able to handle it, however i do believe the server could handle a freeze tag arena where you basically start of with all the weapons, i think this would make for an interesting twist in the freeze tag mod, but its all up to YOU! yes you, vote now, vote yes, let us know what you think about adding a freeze tag mod

I played that shit its pretty funny when u get frozen and u get the slanted camera position, then a teammate comes and hooks u up, starts draggin u around. I'd like to see more people playin it.

never played that mod, although im willing to try it out, i did read about bleach mentioning about it for nygang servers. Im voting yes ! ! !

I'll be honest....I never was a fan of the DM server concept. I enjoyed the old BANG server that was on here a lot more. Rocket Arena 2 and Chaos are two other mods that would have been nice to have, but the server couldn't handle those. Adding a simple Freeze Tag mod shouldn't be a problem, and it would be fun to play every so often.

I'm interested, and yes, I will play on it if it is created.

I used to play some ft with =pHz= clan back in the day. I could see if I could get some of them to play as well.

well i was trying to get 1ny to set a freeze server up.. that seems to have fallen through.. but i would definatly play on a ts freeze server.. i love that mod

Wow, I'm a little surprised there are "no" votes. Unless the "no" voters are voting to conserve server resources. Otherwise, what would you all (as players) stand to lose by having an additional server available?

Note, that's not a criticism, just curious about the "no" votes.

Anyway...

It may be time to make the votemod server work. I don't think it would take too much code.... Maybe.

The idea is it would be something like 'mymap', only you'd get to switch mods. Could switch between "freezetag", "bang", etc...

Well, just a thought . . .

Yeah,

A voteable-mod server would definitly be the best, instead of closing servers and starting new due to inactivity. Regroup Ctf, freeze, bang, chaos, wod. and ppl could organize rendez-vous at the server for a specific gaming.

I would love to play freeze tag, I remember playing it for some time it was exciting.

I give you the 'go' for this console!

198.31.190.130:27910: Baldbeaver (rail only)
64.81.102.208:27911: Phoenix freeze tag

I think some or all of these are "rail only" and are the only ones i could find for now, and their also Non populated
