freeze tag? are you guys interested

Voted Yes. Would like to schedule a time for Q2 CTF pickup games too.  And QPong would also be a blast.

Off topic, I've arranged real world paintball matches where we played a similar games:

1) One very similar game to freezetag is called "Medic", where if someone is shot they have to stay still until healed by a teammate's touch or killed by an enemy touching them.  Really adds pressure on both sides.

2) Another neat game was "Alien", where secretly one player is selected to be the infected alien while all other players are marines.  If the alien frags someone, that someone becomes an alien.  So, people are jittery upon match start.. then there is one bang, then bang-bang, then bang-bang-bang the aliens spread like wildfire.  Communication is important.. aliens are not allowed to speak.. so there is a test.  This could work for q2 with messagemode.

3) Last was "secret service" which is where one player is the president and only gets a pistol while all other players on his team have to move him from one base to the other.  The other team are terrorists whos only goal is to takeout the president.  This is also in counter-strike where one player is VIP and only gets pistol.

Of course this is just off topic, because I'm not planning on coding these games..

ill vote yes, as i played this alogn tiem ago for both quake2 and quake3
its a very good mod, and suggest everyone give it a go

I voted no because of the reasons stated in my previous post and I'm getting tired of polls.
Actually I don't really care one way or the other and was about to retract my vote and vote yes since it says the voting is allowed until Aug 21.
But now I don't have that option.  Wonder why.

Looks like more "exit" polling is on the way.  It's worked so well in the last two presidential elections, lol.


I'm voting Yes just because it's something new and different for most.  But given its team nature and the rather tepid response to the poll so far, I'm guessing this server might be idle a lot. 

On the flipside of Freeze Tag is the Weapons of Destruction mod.  I used to love setting people aflame on that one..heheh.

I've never played it either, but t sounds funny! I'd give it a try, sure! (console was talking about server resources -- it shouldn't take up too much more, right? I mean, if some people go onto the freezetag server, there might be less people on the other at that time, so it would even out, right?  ???)
