Just to be more explicit. I didn't insult you. Maybe you provide those arguments to me with proof? Please without things like this:

Oh and BTW, you say it doesn't use Q2E and you dont have a clue what it is... And yet you use .pk2 files, something which we made up years ago (after Quake 3 .pk3 files, lol).

It's a little childish and absurd, isn't it?

Please give arguments like "this file is from Q2E, because it is the same, compare it if you don't believe".

Finally, about person insults.
Is not it an insult for Berserker that when he asked you to point at the Q2E code in his source (with file name & line number), you didn't answer, just lol'd? How do you think?

This wasn't a thread in the first place , someone took a section of the QuakeExpo thread where the argument sparked, used my comment (with permission or quote, ought to sue you for plagiarism ) to start it, and this began. All I have to say is, sorry for the dumb comment and stop arguing plz

I just asked you for some facts about his code. Still got no proofs from your side...

The silly insults aside, I won't disparage their grasp of English, as it is infinitely better than my Russian.

Interesting, I know nothing of odium's past.  But speaking as a programmer and ex game developer, I've formed the opposite view based on what's been said in this thread so far.

What I've seen is initially some very broad accusations of stealing code and media:

No, he wasn't. He's a russian guy who stole our code before until we caught him out. Now hes done it again but this time stole the media too.

...and yet when pressed for evidence, the claims eventually seem to have dwindled to absurdities like, "you stole our .pk2 extension", and, "your caustics look like our caustics."

If one is going to accuse another of stealing code, one should be able to provide specific examples.  E.g. "lines 700-800 in your g_combat.c are copied from lines 450-550 in our g_combat.c".

Instead, we've seen requests for specific examples of stolen code be met with a response like "lol".  This sort of non-response does not help odium's credibility.

Anyway, I'm not trying to drag out the thread.  But the accusation, "they stole our code before, and the did it again" has been made.  Now let's see some files and line numbers to back that up.
