Shit, didn't mean to hijack the thread. This is about Quakecon 08 A lot of the other things that were really cool I can't really talk about much, but I'm very very excited about them.
Besides all that, I think my favorite thing this year was the fact that jitspoe and jdolan got along so well after not being so chummy online. They worked late into the night doing grenade bounce physics and rocket vectors That was quite heart-warming.

I'M GETTING MARRIED! I proposed to [BTF]Rottenrose saturday night (or was it sunday morning?) in the BYOC...

Glad that worked out the way you planned!  And she said yes (didn't think she wouldn't...) 

can't wait till next year.  Wife wants the whole family down there.     23 hour road trip!    

To bad I missed you jehar... was playing some Q2 sat night durring the final party/finals.  Had a great time!
