No need to explain really. I think that honestly 90% of the tdm community would be very pleased to see Razor being muted for awhile. If you need any explanation about his antics, just go on irc and look in #tastyspleen-live. LITERALLY 1/2 of it is full of his garbage, which is pretty sad because that channel monitors ALL of tastyspleen's servers. He starts stuff with a dozen people a day, no exaggeration.

I dont think anyone should be banned from speaking.  That would create more stress on the game for him than he already has.  Just dont read it or dont reply to keep him going, because at times he tends to have childish ways.  Everyone's voice should be heard.

No matter how much of an asshole someone is on the servers (this isn't the first time with people like this, as many of you will know), there's ALWAYS the ingame ignore function. Really handy. If you don't want to hear from him any more, you can ignore him yourself. A global mute\ban usually does more harm than good, and quadz has shown us repeatedly that it takes a LOT (usually involving cheating) to get bant from the servers. So let's take some of the responsibility into our own hands, eh?

The nice thing about Q2 and TS specifically is that we usually don't *need* divine (quadz) intervention to solve problems. Baby-sitting should be on anybody's to-do list.

I've considered adding a new mode to our OpenTDM version which would only allow spectators to type one mm1 comment every 120 seconds or so.

So they wouldn't be completely prevented from using mm1, as people felt that was too extreme.  But they would be limited from spamming in mm1...

Countless times I have been in a server and razor out of nowhere starts talking shit to me...i could be in mid match he just joins in the middlle and starts going off. Maybe its just me, but in r1q2 my ignore doesnt seem to work. A permanent mute for raz0r I don't think would be more harm than good. I'd say ban him, nobody enjoys playing with him or playing in a server where he is able to speak.

Heres the deal....razor has this impression that everyone likes him...so he'll come into a server, pop off at the mouth, thinking that he is just joking around, which he might actually be, but he also thinks the person he is "joking" with also thinks its a joke because after all, they're good friends with razor. Razor still hasn't realized that no1 likes him and as a matter of fact takes nothing he says as a joke  and assumes he is shit talking, and rightfully so
