Yeah, looks like Daytona in the pictures. I stayed at different places down there last year - Ocala, Tampa, Palm Coast, Daytona, New Smyrna, Key West. Man that ride from Key Largo down to Key West was great. Almost wish I could move down there.

The keys is our favorite place. We just haven't had time to go lately. Last time was 5 and a half years ago for the week during at Paddy's day. Found a a place in tavernier (spelling, it's the southwest end of key largo) for 79.99 a night! The sign looked 40 years old and had a glowing heart on it. We were joking about how we were going to walk in and see a heart shaped bed. But, it was a huge efficiency with a full kitchen. Definitely old and not the cleanest, but the bed and linens were clean haha. It was right on the water and had free kayaks to use (with islands to go to) and a fishing pier. I bought a $50 rod and reel combo from bud n Mary's (marina where you see tarpon swimming around everywhere in islamorada, right off the main drag), went back to the motel and caught 2 decent sized hog fish in 30 minutes. Crazy enough that motel was only at 20% capacity. Had the water to ourselves and the fishing pier. It was a fantastic time.

Fastforward to my 27th or 28th birthday 3 weeks later. After getting tanked in South Beach and a trip to Texas de Brazil (brazilian steakhouse, fucking amazing place). This was a great birthday. I usually don't do crap for it or I'm working. My now wife decides to cap the night off(WHILE I'm making her a drink) by going upstairs and taking multiple pregnancy tests. HAH! Happy birthday to me! 2nd appointment date estimated the date of conception on St Paddy's day... So ya! We love the keys!!

It is a very pretty area, the water view is awesome. The traffic can make it a stressful ride unless you are willing to relax and take it easy.
