Yeah, I was reading some shit yesterday where the country group Lady Antebellum changed their name to "Lady A", as if that makes a difference since you still know what the A stands for. And apparently someone already used the name Lady A and was black, which was of course an even further perceived racist insult on their part.

It's a good thing context matters these days, huh? Because CLEARLY... they picked that name BECAUSE they knew it was racist and because they are racist... and it wasn't just another dumb choice of lowest common denominators in a series of choices made to exploit an established genre of music for profits. Because rumor has it that in the early days of their group, the two douchebags from Florida-Georgia Line wrestled with whether or not to call their group New Yorkers From New Jersey for no particular reason at all.
