Hmm seems the poetry thread has stalled a bit.I'll work on some more poems.

Hey guys... here a few I've written.  I'm not very good but I love to write, and that's all that counts in my book!  Anyhoo... enjoy.  (None of them have titles... I can never think of titles)

lol, no... I have always been intrigued by the darker side of the human psyche.  I don't necessarily write from my point of view... I try to write from the point of view of others who are experiencing dark, turbulent emotions.  I find it cathartic, in a way... like expelling the bad feelings and thoughts I have onto paper, rather than have them rip me apart by keeping them restrained.  Or something like that.

I found this and read it, and its not poetry as such, though could be interpreted as poetry by the right mind, I found it and it was originally to help acknowledge against racism people, but im sure its found on a stupid amount of joke sites too, on the original, when he says the colours the white man is, the words were that colour.. more powerful I guess...

A BLACK MAN WALKS INTO A CAFE EARLY ONE MORNING AND NOTICES HE'S THE ONLY ONE THERE

AS HE SAT DOWN HE NOTICED A WHITE MAN SAT BEHIND HIM, THE WHITE MAN SAID "COLOURED PEOPLE ARN'T ALLOWED IN HERE" .

THE BLACK MAN REPLIED...

"WHEN I WAS BORN I WAS BLACK

WHEN I GREW UP I WAS BLACK

WHEN I'M SICK I'M BLACK

WHEN I GO IN THE SUN I'M BLACK

WHEN I'M COLD I'M BLACK

AND WHEN I DIE I'M BLACK.

That quote is claimed to have originated from Malcolm X, but I can't find anything to prove it, so it's probably false.
