maybe it's lame, but I do not know anything about r1q2 or mouse drivers.  since this is only happening in q2, I figure it is a software problem, which could be with r1q2 itself, or a configuration settings, so installing default q2, and seeing if it happens is a good way to troubleshoot, since I don't know it really works.

The cord was going,  it shorts out totally here and there now. Wife got me a 518 for backup,

But since I brought it home,  the G5 has behaved fine.  Guess it knows it's days are numbered. :)

get a death adder , i only used g5 for one day cuz it would tire my hand , death adder's really really good
