Passive behavior on Co-op

Oh, Teo wants to admin the co-op server, thats an excellent choice too.

I was suggesting ReCyClEd as he knows the game and is an excellent host when I am there.

TY Processor...actually Gator gave it to me a while ago. I use it in a very limited fashion - mostly just to go to the next level - or to trick the server into not crashing. Not too successful lately. Hopefullu Gator will read this thread.

Actually when Gator or Railwolf or Quadz reads this, I would like to ask either of them to add about 20 maps to the [EoM] server.

The is doing well, lots of participation.

There is nothing that can be done in my knowledge to make the server or coop reliable.  Its quite unstable.

tx.tastyspleen.net will be going down real soon, so i won't be making any changes to it.

Some of the servers may find life elsewhere on tastyspleen.

CoopOrDie could be something but it seems to be using a 'worldserver' and you need to register for an online account, but I'm not sure.

That's too bad Gator, anyway thanks a lot for running them in the first place. I liked the idea of the coop server and despite its instability I had fun there.

yeah, coopordie is not something that tastyspleen can run.  panjoo is correct.

it is an interesting mod though.  i downloaded it and tried to use it, but can't recall what it was that got in the way.  i was unable to play it.  but the idea looked kick ass.

We'll attempt to bring over all of the servers, as long as we can find linux binaries (or source.)

Tis a sad day in Quaketown - we'll miss those servers and all your efforts to keep them running. Much appreciated, Gator. Hopefully Co-op will find a new home somewhere in the Spleen household.

Well, i wont allow anything needed or wanted to go by the wayside.  If quadz can't run it for any reason, i can run it from home.  i do expect to have a different server located elsewhere in the future, waiting for things to pan out.  The one i want will take time.  i wouldnt have dropped LT(the current hosted server) until then, but LT raised their rates, so i decided it was just time.  Minor speed bump.  No worries.  All things will pan out just fine with time.

Easier said than done? That's my job... I manage a meager 12 on my own... 

With ESX technology it only makes it easier...
