that appears alot funnier than it actually is.

All those disconnects (except the first one) were intentional.
It wasn't because of having the RECONNECT command bound to my mouse.

With my key bindings, virtually everything I have always used is defined on keys for my left hand.

Until recently i wasnt even using the right mouse button for anything.
Nevermind the other 6 buttons (got one of them new fangled Logitech 8 button mice).

I had RECONNECT bound to my F11 key, which is a key i have bound SYSTEMWIDE to my middle mouse button, cuz i like to make explorer windows take up fullscreen when I am reading a page of text.
In the 3 months that i have had RECONNECT bound to my middle mouse button, i have never pressed it once (in Q2). Some of you know how the Logitech mice require a hard press on that middle (scroll wheel) button.
Applejacks uses inferior MS mice

because he needs a softer click scrolly for ducking.

What IS funny is that i always went to the extra trouble of pressing the F11 on my keyboard (in Q2) which isnt easy to reach.
I never thought about the fact that i could conveniently use my mouse
to reconnect with, WITHOUT lifting my hand.

I am just not used to doing anything other than aim and shoot with my mouse.

I had a best weapon key, and a finishing weapon key (for when targets are almost dead, spray them with chaingun or hyperblaster if i have it)
similar to the bind Arther posted. But it didnt seem to work right so i never used it. But after Art posted it, i was thinking i need to fix it, since it obviously works for someone else.
So now that i have need for new buttons, the middle mouse button seemed like natural. Only problem is, the "bind F11 reconnect" was later
in the config than the place where i bound the bestweap, so the first
time i tried to test it, it reconnected me instead.

So after that i kept QUITting Q2, tweaking my binds and then connecting to xquake to test them out.
I had a "wait; " between every weapon, but took them out since Art didnt
have any in his.
Through trial and error i discovered 3 things.

(1) You are limited to a certain number of characters in a bind (no wonder it never worked right)
(2) Without any WAIT commands, only the first 7 weapons will try to be selected.
(3) ONE WAIT command is not always enough. After the 7th weapon I needed MULTIPLE WAITS. I am not sure but, i think 2 will do it
