You guys might not find this funny, but for some reason this cracked up a friend of mine and I one night big time.  Some guy was playing under the name "Nick Berg", aka the first guy that was decapitated in Iraq when he was held hostage.  So I see "Nick Berg was blown away by soandso's super shotgun", then "Nick Berg:  My Head!!!" - Made me and my friend laugh pretty hard.  I just think it's funny sometimes when people incorporate a persona into their Quake 2 player from someone in real life.

You guys surely remember dirtyjohn; he could get off some zingers from time to time. At first, he annoyed the crap out of me, but then I realized he wasn't malicious and was just having fun. He'd even laugh when other players would give it back to him.
