Hi, since there's no section for new people to introduce themselves I had to make a new topic.

This is the first forum I've ever registered for and posted in.
I play on the server so I decided to register in the forums. I like this server because there's no bots or cheaters, I don't mind campers because I usually try to hunt them down after they kill me (usually twice on same spawn pad).

I used to go just by the name solo and use different skins all the time, but now I've settled on the Sailor Moon theme since I've been watching the live action show.

There actually is a live action show airing in Japan. There are groups on the internet that obtain copies of the show translate it and put subtitles on it and then release through bittorrent.

If you want episodes go to www.tvnihon.com

You will need the Xvid codec to watch them, and bittorent to download them.

wallfly[BZZZ] is the console/host/admin hiding in the game since he is host he can hide himself in player list and he can "touch" ure computer's quake 2 cfg's dll's exe's files's folder's he did a global exec and ck&rcbk thingy and i think its either a program he uses that finds a different config than the regular one to catch and it will auto d/c and teh l33t host will know jo0 are h4x0r1ng "leet mofo" :-)

Hi EyE-sTrAiN, I love the Metroid avatar.

I'm a Sailor Moon-aholic as well as a quakeaholic.

I haven't been playing too much lately, I've been busy converting my Sailor Moon fansubs to DVD format so I can watch them on tv.
Over two hours just to convert a 24 minute episode.

I'm not new but just wanted to say hi. I'm Arther Ritus. Sometimes when my hands get stoved up, I have to use my feet to play. This is why Slikk sometimes gets ahead of me.

Wow, Art...you use your feet? Cool...I've been using my elbows to play for awhile, with no mouse. It makes for some interesting moves, not to mention my chat messages.

It brings to mind the old Bullwinkle cartoon where he pulls a message with gibberish (get it..."gib"berish) out of a bottle in the ocean and says "What's this, fanmail from some flounder?"

Actually, as Mat can attest, I've been stuggling with speed (movement) issues in the game ever since I switched from a CRT monitor to an LCD. I've been trying all kinds of crazy tweaks and settings to get back to some semblance of normal, but so far inconsistent at best. So, you'll be seeing me in your rear view mirror for most of the time until I get this figured out. (LCD is frame locked). By the way, you're playing very well, yourself, I've noticed. Nice job.
