Oh, and on further note...this whole telling people whose gameplay you do not like to go to Vanilla is getting old. Every person has a right to play on whatever server they wish, if they are not banned or using cheats. It's as if you've declared yourself the Center of Disease Control of Tastyspleen servers and picked out persons to be quartantined on a Vanilla leprosy colony. You apologized to me before just short of a year ago for doing that but continue to proceed to do it. If you want that type of server control, get your own, there problem solved.

Now this particular map, from which I am pulling this IRC log from, the problem wasn't +IA, nor was it "trap abuse." So I guess the next step is to remove grenade launchers???

People have their favorite map, and their favorite spot to hold down. +IA is a sporadic event. According to my demo folder, I was on for roughly two and a half hours last night on the xatrix server. Only once during that span was there +IA.

Now I have asked before, when there were only a couple of people, that EXTERMINADER not pull up +IA as it's fruitless, but when there are several on the server, many of us just go along and have fun with it!

It's not an immoral nightmare that will single handedly ruin the game.  It only happens on occasion.

well this is good atleast we have some sane people left

EXTERMINADER would have been banned if this was my server, but we cant do that
mymap had to be "fixed" because of so much abuse. now THAT ruined the game

Otherwise, people are allowed to use the weapons and items available in the game in whatever way the game code legally allows.

We could do a poll, I guess...  If enough players hate the +IA traps, we do have the xatrix source code...  It would be possible to (for example) remove the ability to drop traps in +IA... (Since dropping them and picking them up again is what gives the infinite supply.)

That would mean you'd get five traps in +IA ... but not an infinite number.  That would still be pretty harsh on xdmp7 ... but presumably less harsh than the current situation?

and then they would type 1 or 2 for yes and no
