It's a ship from the 1400's that wrecked a few miles away from my house. Those are big nails, mostly iron(has to be i assume), that they used to hold everything together. They're bigger than spikes to a railroad tie. this day it was the most exposed it's been in history(to everyone's knowledge seemingly), i'm actually one of the few with pictures of it. I didn't even know that the 400 sq feet+ section you see me standing in EVEN existed until this day. The wind just blows so damn much around here and everything constantly changes as a result of it.now... all you can see are the tips of like 8 spikes, hah.
No definitely not I would think peewee, the actual wreck is so deep into the ground that it's position really doesn't change so tide would have little effect on exposing it or covering it up. It's just the wind blowing sand, and creating wind swell that moves beach, that have been limiting it's exposure this summer(pic was taken on my girlfriend's cellphone a few months ago). No groundswell in the summertime, just warm SW winds else that would be a factor as well.
