Krez stfu i admit u owned me with 3 times my ping i dont deny the truth.
my ping didnt increase when i installed the new router.
My ping has increased by like 15 to all servers lately.
I had the same problem, except my ping went from about 50 to about 400, I pinpointed the ip address of the router that was the problem, called my ISP and they said "We'll look into it". They didn't (naturally). About 3 months later, I guess the offending router was finally replaced and my ping is now better than ever. I can't fault my isp because the router didn't belong to them, it was a Level 3 router, but I was out of Q2 for a few months. In a nutshell, I don't think there is a whole lot you can do, an increase of 15 does not indicate a hardware failure, but maybe increased load along the way. Luckily in my case the hardware was obviously replaced, but my lag was 350ms, your's is 15ms. It might take a while before they notice.
if you have a dynamic ip try releasing your ip and renewing it a few times and see if your ping comes back down, that works for me sometimes...I doubt they would have taken you off fast path, but thats possible...do you have dsl or cable? post some tracert's.
