That would be Chicagoland. If you go to a race you have to tailgate. Get there at 8am and crack open a beer of your choice and grill a hamburger for breakfast. Drink more, eat more and mingle with other people partying. Pack a small cooler with beer and head to your seat minutes before the race is going to start. It's BYOB, you can even bring liquor. As long as it fits in a cooler that will fit under your seat and isn't glass, you can bring it. Then you get to experience it first hand. The badass sound of 41 800HP engines and the raw smell of burning rubber. It's pretty fucking intense, especially if your half in the bag. Worse part about races is the sun burn. 14 beers with no shirt in the afternoon sun in July can have some bad results.
personally I like to get smashed and go skiing...

Sure is boring. But you break out of your stupor when all the chain collisions happen. Followed by the incredible tension of the pace car for 5 laps or so. Then just repeat this for the next 2 hours. Sorry, Nascar is just a circular rodeo. I guess it passes for entertainment but as a form of racing - its crude. This is a race car.....
