What about binds that make it easier to convey your feelings while playing, and those that you use for simple conversational exchanges?

I have binds for these:


"LOL" - something really funny happens and I hit this.

"Nice shot!" - Someone frags me good, I hit this

"Thx" - Someone says "nice shot" to me, or drops me a nice gun, I hit this

"Im Hit!" - After a drawn-out railfest that I lost, or rocket spam exchange, I'll throw this in there when I catch one on the nose...

"Argh!" - Should I fall into lava or space, or crater on the ground while making a crappy jump, I hit this.


would you call these stupid, or are there some grey areas?

I never really thought much of binds myself, but do have admit to seeing some damn funny ones on occasion. Habib got a lot of miles out of his habib mart binds and some were dandy's

IMO binds are no problem as long as they dont become spammy and dont denote racial or hate speech.

i know i tend to annoy people with my smiley binds.  i cant help it.  The scariest part of all, is i actually make those faces with my own face when i hit the keys!
