Oh damn... i just realized that CTF maps will work for TFQ because you can fly, so grapple secrets are all now accessible.

Here's one of my CTF maps to test out. It looks like it will work well.

im using, and the server is running version 3d.

it is still unstable, so dont be surprised to see the server crash or go down.

i guess he is working on version 4.

from what i gather he's good at modeling and prefers it over programming. I'm gonna see what i can do to help programming wise.

The modeling is pretty good, better then your average try i'd say. Actually, about the best i have seen in quake2 period!

The coding obviously has some shortcomings. But i sure can see some potential in the mod. I havent seen anything else like it before.

Hi, I'm the coder of TFQ version 4 (still in progress) till then here is a patch for TFQ that should fix all known bugs (I'll fix more when you find them! LOL)

Downloaded it, installed it, played a bit of SP game, killed a very transformed looking Makron and tried to connect to servers which weren't up. Shelved it.

Obviously a lot of thought and work has been put into this. I look forward to trying out the final version, it may be awesome.

The 3.01 patch solves all the server related bugs, I have found so far, a few 'random crashes' are the result of poorly skinned player models, most notably 'Thrust' & 'Hound' these were skinned with an old plugin for 3dsmax which caused 'out-of-bounds' skinmaps which can randomly crash the game, to solve this I fixed all the player models and zipped them with all the skins into a model pack available here :

These are also all the current Transformers models in there, so you will have 'Megatron', as well as others,

yeah, it seems to restart on its own every now and then, and for the life of me i cant tell why. It is inconsistent. It could happen once every three weeks, or once every three days.

its all back now.
