We also had to endure searing heat, which approached 80 degrees.

indeed peanut oil is the way to go when frying fish. All i put on most fish after that is a tad bit of salt

Good times,

Making me want to take a week off,
and also making me dread my daily pre-work trip to one of a handfull of fast food joints.
