Hi Skip,

It's Kuta beach, the most dangerous waves are known to be around Ulu Watu, with some waves stretching almost to a few kilometres.

It's an american strat, a '62 reissue, almost as old as me.

As for Erica, I'm no pro photographer, but what you may need to play with is aperture priority and shutter speed to catch those nice ideas of the shots you did, your ideas were excellent, just need to play with the technical bits a lil. You'll find that you won't need photoshop after that. Which is the real test of a true photographer.

Thanks Disco....too bad the digitals can't capture the nuances of fog. I generally sharpen my pix, slightly, so I cheat a bit. I can tell you've been into photography for some time by your composition. And the colors where you live are wonderful.

Actually, I'm not into photography for long, I'm really a n00b. I just know what I want to snap and at which angle. Most of the aperture and shutter speed is set by my girlfriend, she's a really good photographer.

I don't photoshop at all. I think post processing is more for fashion and hollywood mags. The only post processing that is alloweable to me is only Black and White conversion. LoL.

I took this one today when I got home from work. I personally could have done without the tree in it, but it was the only good viewpoint I had.

I think the tree works. Gives some depth to the background....

Here's one I took last summer just off the highway out East. Three horses in a field with the ocean in the distance. They are keeping a very close eye on me......
