Who wants TastySpleen to run a AQ2 server? We know there is no scarcity of players in their regular Quake 2 servers and no player in North America can get decent ping in any AQ2 server. If you do manage to find one to join, you will have at least 300 ping and people will be speaking Swedish.

I think TastySpleen needs to run a AQ2 teamplay server, it's only necessary. Pick up where Pearl Mankey left off : P.

I'm into running an action q2 server, but tastyspleen.net and east.tastyspleen.net are pretty maxxed out.

Maybe we should ask Gator if his server still has some headroom...

Yeah, server is rough right now, and i dont have time to give to it until tonight at the soonest.

Post ideas for changes. Action does run different enough from what i am used to, that i do expect technical problems from my lack of knowledge. i'll run both a deathmatch and a team play server.

Here's two config files i made, feel free to edit them or whatever. Basically just map cycle and teamplay settings.

You will need to rename "action.cfg" to "action.ini"
i had to change the extention because you cant upload ini files.

where do you download the mod(can i just connect any download the maps..) any suggestions : ) i was wondering if there was a place on tastyspleen to get ra2 as well (even though google.com eventually came through). always wondered what it was like for new players
