i may still use there OS's, but i sure as hell dont like MS
when an OS that has real competition to Windows comes around, ill be switchin fast

im sorry to say linux has not reached that point, or may never will
they are just not going in that direction it seems

this is proof right here (though im sure its not needed  ) that microsoft is an unstoppable tyrant in the computer industry

That ought to be easy to do. MS never wrote a piece of original code in their life - everything they have is based on code that was existent before they "released" it.

i understand some things
they are gearing windows for an average user
so no cool shell scripting, network utitlities
what about a web browser that doesn't crash, or working multimedia shit
or proper multi tasking, come on now!
i can't wait to get vista for the cool graphics
and i threw knoppix on another pc which does what windows won't do
