Hi, I downloaded the map pack from tastyspleen and certain custom maps crash Quake 2 Advance when I switch to them. I'm running q2advance 0.7, though I've tried running the maps using the standard quake2.exe and I get an error saying "gl_upload8: too large". Any ideas?

Uh, my system specs exceed what's required for Quake 2: Sempron 3000, 1GB Ram, GF4 Ti4200....I'm not running in software mode, I'm running in OpenGL.Bah...didn't notice the tech support forum.

banes - Shut the fuck up.Aerowalk is the one map I need to get working, I've tried various other maps in the map pack. Some worked, some didn't. I'll check and see if it has something to do with maps that have custom textures or something, I guess.edit - Alright, I don't think it has anything to do with custom textures, since Aerowalk doesn't actually have any custom textures. Banes informed me that he downloaded the same map pack from here and all the maps he has work, including aerowalk. So, I'm guessing it's an issue with my videocard (unlikely) or the drivers(maybe?). Right now I'm using the newest nvidia drivers -- version 71.89. I'll test out some older ones.
