an all edge tourney single elimination held one morning would be nice, for bragging rights on who is the best on the edge
Quotean all edge tourney single elimination held one morning would be nice, for bragging rights on who is the best on the edgeYou might want to suggest that to #clutch-gaming (talking here about 'one-day' tourneys).Otherwise you had already suggested a 1on1 All-Edge so it's alright!
totally agree...FFA tourney...but...the only problem is gonna B... to setup a time/date that fits with...4 or 8 players... (it's being diff with 2!)my 20 mexican cents

(it's being diff with 2!)my 20 mexican centsSeeing the nightly crowds that have been gathering just to catch 1-2 matches makes me think there will be no problem in scheduling up to 6 or 8 players for an "ffa" tourney. I wonder if something like this has ever been done. You figure there should be much less number of matches scheduled cause we're not just pairing off 2 players per match. This style of play will better fit the Tasty Spleen "regulars" crowd methinks. On another note... how about team-play (2v2, 3v3) with Weap Stay on?? I know... the tdm'ers are cringing to this thought. But then again it may be a better 'fit' for the ffa crowd. I personally think the experienced tdm'ers will still dominate cause they'll have easy access to weaps after spawning so the end results will be the same except scores may be like 30-10 with weap stay teams, vs, 60-5 weapstay off I've tried this and it's insanely mad fun... lots of non stop action. I think many of us non-tdm'ers feel naked and lost when we spawn w/out a weap... so this might be a compromise and teams can be fun.
If you're going down the "team weapstay" road you might as well do RA2 pickups. Which, when played seriously, is the campiest experience known to man
