laurelin i recommend a private 1v1 tourney next, ive noticed the growing amount of q2p players dominating our tourneys i say have a special in house tourney for tasty spleeners only (i dont consider myself a tasty spleener so id be excluded) but everyone who was all up on vanilla and arena before the creation of tourney and the migration of the tdmers so that they may enjoy a longer run within their own tournament, i think this will help out tsers of lower skill levels compete in the tourney

Recommend skill bracket 1v1 tourney.

Even among the TS players, there are more novice players (including players who have played for a while, but only occasionally for fun), sport players, then the pro bracket.

Put another way. There is no point in me playing a pro player. It isn't worth their or my time. Similarly, there are players who are very interested in the tourney but know that even I could beat them easily. Let them play too.

Perhaps with player seeding decided by the TS tourney staff (Laurelin if willing). Perhaps with a bracket lead who reports to Laurelin.

I like Def's idea. It could keep the same idea that banes has, but also allow q2players in if they want to compete at an higher level.

I would personnally settle with two bracket: Pro & Sport.

That is, naturally, if it's a DM 1v1 tourney. We'll see what the people vote for.

350 ping is the limit of playability. After that, its a mission. Although, I can sling nadez better on my 400+ ping than on a LAN-like ping

and if ur running a server on ur lan, everyone elses ping will be higher that yours (if your in the server as well)

Hmmm I wouldn't be to sure ... but I couldn't argue either because I've never tested that out to see

q2dm1 is most peoples favorite map, and it does have an effect on skill (depends on how good you are with it)
