There is a very strong reason a website was dedicated to reaper contradicting himself. Sorry reaper but when you can't even except blatant contradictions that a 6 year old can pick up, you have issues and clearly only "see what you want to see and hear what you want to hear". The only one guilty of "picking and choosing" on this thread is yourself. Also, when did I mention anything about the God Delusion? Though I do  fail to see how you read the book but feel the whole purpose of the book is to "make enemies", Dawkins never takes that standpoint.

You are forgetting it's intrinsic in people to fear god to some extent. 

If they're taught about god and how he punishes, sure. But that means it's not intrinsic, because they were taught it.

People came up with the idea of god, that's why it's on the back of the dollar bill.  Reality exists for people to come up with this again and again, it's not going to be shoved under the rug.  People generally fear the unknown, and a big unknown is how would people react if they really knew there were no consequences to their actions.

I noticed that too, but since I've read pages and pages of his other replies, I figured it would be pointless and only cause more confusion to himself and everyone to ask him to expound upon it. Not that I have an argument against that statement. For once, I agree 100% with him.
