That's because the song is ridiculously easy. The both of us play shit a hell of a lot harder than any TOOL song. =/ It's all about "dynamics" though guys!!

it is tool, it isn't meant to impress. it is boring but played accurately. this was not directed at you anyway, but noctuary. you can see he hasn't replied so it's clear he knows his role.

Well it was quite accurate.

The timing was good, and the notes/chords were all there.
I'd agree that it's very boring without anyone playing drums and bass, but it's
a dull song with very few notably different riffs.. What can you expect?

You get props for producing the track though... Not many people will take their
accusations and back them up with an example of their own abilities, when it comes to musical arguments.

It's played accurately, and it's boring as hell, only because it's only guitar without drums or bass. None of the induvidual parts in a Tool song are too terribly amazing, but the way they interact is. That's why tool is good, because they take several somewhat simple melodies and combine them into a complex piece of music. It's true however, that schism is not tool's best effort. Their stuff on 10,000 days is a little more impressive.
