Actually you can blame my lack of work today for allowing me to post that often. I wouldn't usually argue with you as it's clearly a waste of time since you don't even have a glimpse of knowledge concerning metal. Was nice to see you avoid anything I mention and continue to live in your fairytale world where Tool is metal.

Next time please at least try to refute something or at least come up with anything credibly if you want to argue about something. It's hard to argue when the other side has nothing...

Ok so I suppose the reason I think Tool has metal is because practicly every place you can buy a Tool CD has "Metal" or some type of metal in the genre. So sue me if I'm wrong but shit... I'm only going by what I've read.

I can keep going if you like... sure maybe they are not *heavy metal* but they are associated with metal every where you look. So what do you want me to believe? You? I guess I could believe you. Since you seem to know alot. Besides I never said you didn't know anything, obviously you know more then me, sure. Music isn't my life like it seems to be yours. Again, I believe what I read and if I read Metal for the genre on almost every CD thats for sale online then I'm going to believe its metal. But... I guess they've been lying to me this whole time! Tool = Metal. It's stated in a *couple* spots that its Alternative Metal and Progressive Metal. Its also stated as plain Alternative or Progressive Rock, sure. You're right there! Have a cookie. But the fact is, they are related to metal, like it or not.

Tool is "nu-metal". my definition, and basically every real metal fan views nu-metal as newbie metal or poser metal of the modern era. ultimately, when a metal veteran listens to tool they don't say "this is metal", they say "they're trying to be metal". nu-metal consists of korn, linking park, tool, limp bizkit, basically any NEW 'radio' hard rock band that a guitar player of two months can play with overall very shitty songs.

jager and granny have some similarities:

1) unable to use "your" and "you're" properly.
2) getting cornered with facts and having trouble to find a way out.

#1 Read my past posts if you like. I do know how to use you're correctly. I made one typo in one post and its a huge deal to a bunch of nerds. You guys are cool.
#2 I never had a problem with the facts he gave me. In his ways he was right. By my facts are points are over looked.

Fact: CD distributors/resellers put Tool in the music catagory "Metal".
Point: The links I posted were not to be taken as if was trying to create credibility references that Tool is solidly in the Metal genre. I posted them to state why me or somebody may think Tool is Metal. You buy a CD you never heard of from the 'Metal' section of the store. I'm going to think the CD I bought is Metal. No? For years and years I was under the impression that Tool was metal. Of course I agree not all of their songs have anything to do with metal. I questioned the genre reference myself. You know I do listen to other metal, 'real' metal I guess. Infact I will be going to Sounds of the Underground in a couple weeks. (Ya I'm sure those bands aren't COOL 'metal' either but your just a total retard if you think they have nothing to do with metal)

Fact: Encyclopedia's online list Tool as part of the metal family.
Point: whether its Nu Metal, Progressive Metal, Alternative Metal... it has Metal in the name. When you look up any of those Metal types, you will find Tool listed somewhere. Sure this may not be "real" metal to you. But it is a type of metal.

So apprently the band Tool doesn't want to be metal. Sure ok then I guess if they don't want to be part of metal then some will think they have nothing to do with metal. Unfortunatly the solid facts I stated puts them in that genre if they like it or not.

#3 Losing side? I don't think anyone won here. Bigwig won because none of you really know me. Unfortunatly you have this impression of me now because some loon thats your friend on the message board started this retarded debate. Which I'm sorry I wasted my time on heh.
