if i had a nickel every time gyn missed the opportunity to patronize me, i'd be a poor man :p. you say, "be a good boy waff and just go run around and pick off the injured i leave behind," but really i don't think this happens any more than the reverse situation is true.

if you watched the game from my perspective, you'd see me usually with no armor or in some awkward spawn situation. looking through granny's pov, i see he actually didn't take too much unnecessary armor, which means ar probably got it. i think we just have different ideas of teamplay, seeing that i am almost never in the same place as granny, he is usually pretty stacked, and i am usually pretty low. he is content to chase people down and go for flashy kills, and i would rather try to retake mega first. i know gyn wants some way to pounce on this post, so i might as well give you something to talk about :p. is there a purpose to good teamplay in pickups? in a typical situation, any decent player can choose to easily rack up kills, or instead make "sacrifices" to play for the team.

but really, forthcoming discussion aside, just another dm1 pickup is really just another dm1 pickup.

this is how it works for me,  if its 2on2 and im in mega with 100h and under 50 armour and your not in mega then i will take the armour.  thats all there is to it, and in any case i should have more armour and health than u so i can go kill them for u to spawn them after.  I'm not content with camping in team games, id rather run aorund the map ownign them both.

well either way i was a good partner and u were crying i was the worst teamate.. i thought that was some bs so everyone ca judge it themselves now.. btw u dropped me nothing and i dropped u like 3 rg's and a couple cg's ect.

the key is to be crazy fast and round up armour so that the opponent is always low.

I nade clowned rehash hardcore in mega and i had 20h, u watched me kill him and knew i was hurt.. u still took mega.. and i didnt say shit. i consider u a bad teamate not me

I specifically chose that tone and wording to reflect Granny's pov and attitude toward you. Note the "I" in "pick off the injured I leave behind" You need to read before you react...sounds like you're importing A LOT into a few words I said in a very tiny demo comment.

...difficult too to sort out from your cybercharade half-truths from lazy opinion...Waff definitely doesn't need defending(i mean come on Gran, stick to 'poze) but he's someone who just steadily played for a good chunk of time and never suddenly "got better" He has over the last 2yrs teamed much, much more with 2c, a 2nd tier, but well-trained tdm clan. And trust me here, waff and I have done our share of verbal fencing, and he won't take the kind of jerky you got for bait.

gyn :well, "lil fella," i state my opinion based on how you come across. i know you love to nitpick on textual details, but honestly, we both know that i'm not implying you are actually the one leaving injured people behind. come on. you know how to spin things in a specific way, and condescension is something that consistently comes across. how's that for consonance?

granny: "in any case i should have more armour and health than u so i can go kill them for u to spawn them after." i disagree. but, you're free to play how you want, that's fine i don't care, but realize that your teammate is going to be low and defensive if you're stacked, not chasing after spawns, especially given the limited resources on a map. you think i'm a bad teammate for not dropping weapons... well, i didn't have any. and if you want to focus on weapon drops, you didn't drop me any chains (got them from enemies), and you gave me rails only in the last minute.

eFights like this are rather pointless, especially over a dm1 pickup. i think everyone's said what there is to say and that's that, no hard feelings, life goes on. the end?

Sorry ya think that waff, but all we know about each other is from text. I don't know you, only circumstantial details. For you to even be an acquaintance, we'd have to meet. So it's not that i nitpick, I just try to back up my opinions with all that's available...text. Still mystified about how I patronized you with that demo review, but somehow I've gone from "patronizing" to "condescending" without adding any more. Care to add any more ad hominems to the growing heap?

Ya know before you close the book on your final, all-conclusive judgment about me, you should consider that you may be wrong, that communication like this without gestures and tone of voice is horribly one-dimensional. I used to talk to this chick on the phone and never saw her. I had this impression about her(in this case i had both text AND tone of voice), but when I finally met her and could see her talk, her hands move and facial gestures...my past impressions changed, and I thought about her differently. Just something to consider, because I can drop names of lots of peeps I "trade text" with who find me generous and modest -- far,far from the kind of arrogance you (hopefully) infer, as there's not enough here to imply.

p.s. I consider Bukowski more of a novelist and really enjoyed Post Office because I like the contrast between his humho job and crazy ramblings. For poetry, Rumi and Robert Haas, whom I've heard speak a few times.

GYN I think u just come off strong on your demo reviews/comments and ppl sometimes take it the wrong way, I know I did, I used to think u were four star ass :P

but now I just realize that it's not personal, u just don't pull any punches when it comes to q2 demos, I actually have come to respect it, maybe in time waff will too

he holds no regard for the 2 people in the demo's he watches. if i get owned in a demo, he will point it out very harshly. I couldnt care less about that.. he simply watches the demo and does his best to explain it so people can decide if its worth watching or not.

gyn has said good and horrible things about me,  i remmeber that game, and maybe u were just super lucky, but i got constant rail spawned for like 7 mins str8.. so that prolly set me off a lil bit. 

btw. watch the demo again waff. u say anytime we are in the same place i take the armour.

in my pov u did absolutly nothing.. u stole a few kills from me and got a couple spawns. which is why i gave u rg's so u could spawn them, u dont need a lot of health to spawn rape with rg. 
well anyways, gyn was pretty much right saying dins my only teamate.. a real teamate will instantly charge to where u are when he hears fighting instead of hiding in mega bitching about how im such a bad teamate lol
