I like 1v1..

I just can't stand it when there's a lot of armor and health.

it's just BS when the guy is running around with 200 hp and 200 armor and u are constantly trying ot find a weapon....that's just ultimate gayness

Should tell location.

My wep drop binds:

bind KP_pgup say_team "Rail for %n;drop railgun;drop slugs"
bind kp_rightarrow say_team "Rocket Launcher for %n;drop Rocket Launcher;drop rockets"
bind kp_slash say_team "Shells for %n;drop shells"

Alerts closest player about the drop.

If your client supports it you can also use .loc files. They are more spesific than the default Q2 locs. Like "Lower SSG", "Upper Rocket Launcher" etc.

nonsense everybody knows that im the number one player in the game....

but theres so many of you PHUQS that its hard to say whos second third and fourth...

how about we have server stats at the end of every round so we know who really is the best player??

huh , then there would be no argueing.. whoever has first place would obviously be number 1 player..

and make it be that whoever has the best time for like 50+ frags or more is the winner.. a timelimit ,not a fraglimit.... just a suggestion... comments????SMOP

I just make my own wepaon drop binds....Im an awesome team player myself...but alas it makes me suck @ 1vs1.Not that I cant hold my own...its just hat Im not number 1-12 in 1vs1. There are others...who make it there business to 1vs1 all they can (cough cough banes cough)...I wont name them.
But the team thing Ive been doing forever.Soemtimes in ffa on tasty..certain people will come in.I dont shoot these certain people...therefore limiting my frag options..Im shooting at 10ppls when there are 11 possible targets..this gives everyone else an advantage, but I like it.And Its so awesome to frag someone standing next to your buddy about to kill him...

I've always been really partial to team play - one reason why I like CTF and used to play it a lot even though I haven't played it in a long time. Somewhere I've even still got my keyboard overlays (and cover a LOT of keys) for all the binds for team/ctf play.

I guess one of the reasons I quit playin was it got hard to find real team players - like sports, everyone wants to be the star.
Of course, the main goal in playing q2 (no matter what mode) for me has always been, and will always be, to have fun - fun the way *I* like to have fun.
If I can't play and have fun when I'm playing the way I like to have fun or if some jerk is bugging me beyond my ability maintain for that particular episode, why I just go away and come back another day. Unlike real life, q2 is just a game.

I like to play like that with fellow BTF members. I find this helps strengthen your total awareness in the game.
