ill tell you this, youre better than everyone ive played, and im pretty sure no one else i havent played would be able to beat you 1v1, you proved to be not only knowledgeable in a 1v1 fight, but youre also pretty damned good at it, i dont think ill be able to find someone better than you within the regular dmers, and im sure you could beat many 1v1 regulars too

Me too, I'm gonna have to lie and call in sick on Sunday to do it.  I thought about being honest and up front, and just explaing to my boss the situation (maybe not in too much detail), but just say I need to go somewhere on either Sat or Sun, and let him chose the day.  But with that there's a chance I won't get to go =P  And after asking for the day off, if he says no, and I go anyway, that could potentially put me in more trouble.

So if all goes according to plan, and my truck makes it out there, I'll be there Sunday morning sometime if I'm able to get myself up and out of the house early enough =)  Should be a 3 hour drive at least.  Man I need a cell phone....

Team play and one vs one have very large followings.  Many ffa players play for years and never see the scene or even know about it.  Many try it a few times, get their asses kicked, and go back to ffa over frustration.  The best ffa player does not make a great 1 vs 1 player or especially a great team player.  Completely different sets of skills and strategies.

If you have interest in team play, i'd hunt down a few team cfg's that allow you to post your location, your enemies location, weapon drops, etc...

i personally think it takes longer to gain team skills then it does ffa skills.  Just my personal experience.

but teamplay!!! omg....I usually kill my team mates like 50,000 times..then kill myself like 10,000 times...

i'd hunt down a few team cfg's that allow you to post your location, your enemies location, weapon drops, etc...

I've been looking for some 'Location' binds. I don't know exactly how it works. I know in CTF and some other mods. the Cmd %L gives your Location - however it doesn't work in OSP or dm...

I know |D|Kong has it. Be it The Edge or Warehouse he could situate himself with binds (and I guess that'S only one bind - otherwise it'd be unplayable.)

If you can direct me somewhere, Id appreciate it.

That being said. Teamplay is truly a great experience, much more fun than 1v1.

What you talking about, I was just passing by, and you kind of jumped back or strafed aside (or simply tried to grab rocket Launcher), don't know exactly, but that really looked like I had pushed you Hence my post.

this is all true, thats why i always hated dmers who got a big head for hitting the frag, who can kill newbs the fastest is not an accurate indicator of skill, 1v1 is where its at, ya'll need to CONVERT

laurelin, there is no specific command for location, you have to bind keys to @rail, @mega health room, enemy, shit like that
