I usually play with such amazing skill and blazing speed that I often appear invisible. If I stop to type I become visible again.

Just got done playing, and fragged showed up as invisible. He disconnected and came back, still could not see him. He was skin male/dark but I don't think the skin has anything to do with it. This is about the 4th time now where i'll start getting damage and see no one, and boom your dead. $:-\$

I was invisable last night for 1 map. I was the "cow" model but was makeing the default grunt sounds. The map changed and all was normal again.

I noticed its started happening over on the mutant server too. Makes no sense at all ???

well its something to do with the lastest q2admin release i think.

one thing if a player is invisible just ask them to kill themselves . once they die they can be seen
if console is around.... console will just take the liberity of killing the player for themselves

perhaps a temp fix could be to stuff a kill command to all players the first time they connect. sure you might start off one map upon initial conection with a -1
but at least ppl can see you.

just think of the people you cannot see as "the ghost in the machine "

It's happened to my two or three times.
I start running around fraggin players with ease and then I notice my model has the grunt voice.

I like playing better when I'm invisible!

Some folks were talking about me being invisible one night and I thought they were accusing me of cheating until they said it was nothing I had done. I'm so old school that I don't use a mouse, so it's hard to picture me downloading or writing hacks

Btw, if it happens again PLEASE let me know - so I can take full advantage of it!

I have seen and been invisible a few times now.I think we should leave it the way it is...gives the person who just connected a handicap to catch up...and its so fun to kill an invisible person..which i did once firing randomly with my supershotgun in a close hallway...Score one for the visible people!
