These are my two budds, all my older Basset Hounds past away. I've never owned any other breed till this last year.
Jake is the white one and a Great Pyrenee. We got him as a pup from our Aunt and Uncle. Bogie is the Black Lab. We got her as an adult from my step grand daughter and ex daughter N law.

My pet Siamese cat was diagnosed with liver failure a year ago and I had to take her to the vet to do the inevitable. By that point she was thin and weak. The needle was administered and she died in my arms. Still hurts when I think about it.

Doesn't matter. Love dogs too. I have a soft spot for all animals - especially the young. If they're your pet, you bond with them and vice versa.

I saw a dog JUST like that spread all over the highway the other day. Well... it was kind of hard to figure out what it use to look like. Dumb dog.
