Finally i know what the problem was, i was blamed about using a bot (that caused a lot bad things and good things too) now i know that the 'problem' was NoCheat 2.40 Beta 2. I don't know why this thing it was givin me problems @ xquake... but... i don't think that stuff can be considered a 'bot'..... i donwnloaded that file from bryceinc.com and if you want the file that i'm currently using, you can get it from here

You guyz are the 'experts' on that bot stuff, i'm sure that i'm not; so, if you really think that there's something wrong with that stuff, please let me know.

I use the 2.34 one because the 2.40 one has a tendancy to crash my system for some odd reason, and it takes bout 5 minutes after I execute it for quake to start

Well, before having that 'reactin' stuff @ xquake, i have never had any problem using that version. I think, i don't rembember but i think that i was using 2.40 since august or september i dunno.... but without any problms...

I use the 2.40 beta 2 version and have no problems at Xquake.

Also, what gives with all the visual corruption on many of the buttons on this site? Anybody else having that problem? I'm using Firefox.

I'm on firefox and have no corruptions of buttons on any sites. Is it just this site, or other ones as well?

I've only noticed it on this site. And I vist a few other forums sites as well.

Guess I'll load up IE and see how it looks. Looks ok on IE.

The "Post Reply" button on the bottom of this thread is kinda corrupted for me. It's like half-compressed on the bottom of it.

Oh well, will probably just deal with it other than try looking into it further =) Doesn't bother me all that much.

Im using firefox 1.0 (the most recent i believe) and the forums look and act just fine to me. Don't know why its acting up for you guys..but hey tabbed browsing rox!! It's l337!!

I have never had much luck using NoCheat....I tried it for the cool new graphics packs, and even though I've got a nVidia 5600 256 ddr vid card, it still crashed Quake 2 after about 3 matches.....I'm a big fan of r1q2 since it actually runs really smooth for me and there is a r1gl pack as well. I've been using this for some time now with now problems what so ever. Check it for yourself if you want at www.r1ch.net

Off Topic:
Funny thing about FireFox is that it imports all your security settings from Internet Explorer's Internet Options...so if your security settings for IE aren't set up tight to begin with....your not much safer using FireFox. The Built in popup blocker is nice as well as the tabbed browsing and lack of Active X to stop browser hijacking...But I can tell ya that Java isn't fool proof either... because I've caught 2 different trojans sneeking in through a vunerability in Java while using FireFox. I think about the only reason it may be a little bit safer to use other than IE is because it's kinda new. But now that everyone is using it, it's being targeted as well and turning into a different story. This latest security update for FireFox fixes a vunerablity in the .... Updater .... among numerous other things. O...and don't forget to update your Java as well....
After using both for a while now, I really don't see much difference between the two as far as security goes.

I use thwe newest version of firefox (1.0.4) and have had no problems wit hany of this...used the previous version too no problem. HHmm?

I've always used mosaic, mozilla,firefox (used opera in BE oncet) and like the response (read patches/fixes) time when there's a problem. I NEVER import anything though - too paranoid I guess...

I upraded with that 2.40 you linked and have been running it with no problems at all.

But after looking into it more it has me paranoid as it isnt made by the original creator of nocheat from brysinc.com. Looks like it was made by a q2 player named evilpope, who i know for a fact, without a doubt, from personal experience a few years back he is a cheater. He was in clan KARN and they all got busted using a wall hack and he was the creator of the hack. I used to hang in their IRC chan at the time it all went down and saw all the screenshots of the hack, had friends in the clan who told me about it ect...

Im not so sure I trust it, if its open source can someone who knows what they are doing look at this new .exe and make sure its safe? Who knows the guy may put some kinda trojan or something in it for all we know.
