Tsearch made your code invalid, but the fake code generator made it valid again, and does the same for the ratbot or any other detected hack. The only reason nocheat was a 'failure' (i wouldnt consider this, it did it's job while it was being updated) was because bryce lost interest and stopped working on it.

It would seem to me that he took over. Perhaps even changed the Product name to q2Advance(?).
