is it against the rules to dislike etg (topic)?

and i think us going on kismet's name just shows her inability to take a joke more than anything else.

I'll go on the website though and talk to an admin...

help from anyone else would still be appreciated.

The rules state they can scan topics along with anyone else and they do not allow "hate" type names, comments etc.

THey claim stuff was spammed into #pride about joining the #straight channel and the #pride folks complained to the admins and they monitored (I assume) the traffic and took some action on it. Since I do not have all of the logs from everyone involved on both sides I dont know the whole story.

Their rules also specifically talk about name spoofing.

How did #pride bother you guys in the first place??, or was it just some type of fun (not sure thats what you would call it) that got out of hand and the admins took action.

My question about this whole stupid tihng was answered within the first sentence of your post. You should probably find a way to deal with your obvious latency before your anger about it gets you in trouble.

And please explain how people talking about liking it in the ass translates to them wanting to stamp out heterosexuals and you (not that those two are the same by any means, obviously) and why other people's sexual proclivities are any business of yours, you little fascist fag.

All it was, was a channel between me and a few of my e-buddies. If etg didn't realize that? That's fine, i don't care... it still isn't right that they locked my clan's channel which had nothing to do with #straight.

uuhhhmm.. about the name spoofing... Someone was in #etg just the other day complaining that the name that they have used for almost 5 years was now being used by somebody else. Admins cobra and kismet both responded in saying 'that someone doesn't own their name on irc' neither does kismet. I understand why a control freak like her would get upset over it, but she needs to take a joke. It's an IRC server for gamers, dear god.

ALL THE SAME WHY DID THEY LOCK MY CLAN'S CHANNEL?, when kismet locked #snakes and #foj, you didn't see her locking #blackdragons because 'most of the people from those channels came from #blackdragons (more like all). NOT asking for your channel to get locked at all guys, you know what i mean haha...

EDIT: Also, why didn't they lock #tastyspleen?? the same people that were involved idle in #tastyspleen also........???? It is not a 'just' punishment fanny, sorry.

The Official TS channel is still on ETG, with no plans at this time to move it. May look into spamming the home channel convos into other channels possibly.

Part of the everyone getting banned may have been due to whoever was opped not doing anything to control any of it whether they were activley taking part or not. Have you talked to the admins via their web site access to see what they say??

I am emailing ETG now.

The only people that didn't take a part in ANY OF IT whatsoever that were there were:

mya - not banned
kickro - banned
penith - banned
dyn - banned

there were also a few people like sean who said a few things and got banned still... adam was having fun in the channel but he pm'd cobra` and gave him a hug and made everything better then left.

and everyone was op'd.

so basically, kismet is an estrogen infatuated psycho bitch that really needs to find the very bold line between reality and IRC.
