Oh wow. Lions fans are gonna be pissed off for the next 5 years over that TD reversal and 10 second runoff. Honestly, when I first started watching the slow-mo replays from on the couch, I said to myself, "Eh, looks like he knee was down before that ball broke the plane." But after the reversal when they actually PAUSED the replay, it kinda looked to me like there was a good argument to be made that there was maybe an inch of space between the side of his left knee and the turf. I don't think there was enough "indisputable evidence" there to warrant overturning the call. Sucks to be Lions as usual.

I was watching it while playing with the kid. I thought there was 8 seconds and another down left even if he didn't cross the plane? That confused me although maybe I wasn't paying attention enough. Stafford's been doing well though.

Carolina did terrible. Cam doing his silly celebrations then throwing a pick the next play is ridiculous. The defense had an off day and Brees did well.

UNC and the White house couldn't reach an agreement on a date for when the basketball team should visit MONTHS ago, and look at all of these headlines surfacing. All because the NBA championship team didn't want to go, so they created these fake news headlines about UNC. On social media people don't even read the articles, they see the headlines and thousands talk about burning every UNC item they own. UNC wanted to go!!! Haha this shit blows my mind.

It's ridiculous. It was only SOMEWHAT tolerable when he was always winning 2 years ago lol. When you do that shit and play like shit you go from being an idiot that wins to an idiot that loses.

I have 4 tickets to notes dame UNC, they're valued at $200 each probably and I can't go. Great seats. Bummer. I am DEFINITELY going to UNC UVS though. Despite UVA being..... UVA, they did just cream Boise state. It's no surprise to us necessarily that are in sec/ACC country, but VA as the worst team in the ACC perhaps can still knock off these dumb preseason ranked overhyped teams. I think it's a noon game and I'm bringing my son to the pre-game events, then we're going to the state fair the next day.

Virginia is to the ACC what Vanderbilt is to the SEC. You don't mind the name on your degree as much as you do on your football jersey.

Lol yeah. I'd probably pick Vandy over VA unless VA had a good quarterback. There are some interesting style clashes when ACC teams play the SEC. Florida State and Clemson will beat almost every SEC team, but then a good NC State team or UNC team has the tools to top them(NOT UNC THIS YEAR, haha). Yet, NC State and UNC will get beat by your average SEC team more times than not same with other ACC teams. SC repeatedly beats them both.

I'm curious about Miami this year, but if I had to guess I don't think they're quite there yet to take the role everyone is waiting for them to. I think Virginia Tech is impressive this year, and clemson plays @ Virginia Tech this saturday. I'm picking Virginia Tech to win a close one. But, relating to what I said above, if VT were to edge clemson to a playoff game somehow, they'd get beat by Alabama 9 times out of 10 opposed to clemson where it'd be 50/50.....

I'm hoping to bounce back today with my wagers. I haven't been too specific because I've been doing so damn good that I feel any boasting will jinx me, but I turned $250 into over 24,000. Last weekend killed me and I lost over 7 thousand to about 17k and some change. I took some risky straight wagers to try to bounce back tonight with green bay chicago and texas iowa state, and they're looking great so far.

I think VT will give Clemson a good game but in the back of my mind I keep picturing what ALA did to Vandy.
We will find out if Clemson is way better than everyone else in the ACC or if they have some legitimate competition.
