I agree with you. But, the committee loves Ohio state and is probably going to be subjective about it. I don't like to see Ohio state being in the conversation but if the committee is subjective and ask themselves who do we think is the better team, Ohio state, Wisconsin, or penn state they're going to say osu and Id agree with them. This is coming from someone that thinks all 3 teams are overrated. Penn state might "deserve" getting trampled by Alabama but I'm not so sure they'll get it even with a win over Wisconsin.

Tony Homo has as much chance of winning a Superbowl as Matt Ryan does. Which is to say... the Cowboys won't win the Superbowl unless someone poisons the other teams Gatorade every Sunday.

Well shit the bed! Looks like I'd better put some fancy ketchup on them words, cuz I might be eatin' them sumbitches before it's over. I haven't been paying real close attention to football at all this year, but last I heard, Dallas had the best record in the entire NFL.

Gonna be "same shit, different day" in the SEC again this year. Doesn't matter how good Georgia or Florida are in the East, they got JACK SHIT for Alabama in the West. More than likely gonna be another National Championship for Alabama this year.

So at least half of my predictions came true.

So who gives a shit whether Wisconsin or Ohio State or Penn State make it into the college playoffs. They have zero chance of winning. It's already over. Give the trophy to Alabama, golf clap unenthusiastically, and lets get on with our lives.

Well yeah. Whatever team against Alabama has to play the game of their life. Unc would've had just as good a chance as any of the others. Best qb in the nation has the best night of his life, the planets are aligned, etc bama would be in trouble.

What it takes to beat Alabama is this. A team that is similarly well rounded like them with all seniors and juniors. That's Michigan. Now Michigan needs unc's qb(or a top 5 one that meshes well even if not a play caller), and receivers that will out maneuver bama's secondary. Well rounded team with a high powered offense and a qb that actually has to make saban think outside the box. Clemson has a shot. But last year was their chance. They had a way better defense and their offense at least has a high ceiling for potential.

Washington may have the 2nd best chance, I don't know. Both need some luck. Michigan had the size and physicality but they lost to Iowa and the Ohio state game was close enough to be impacted by terrible officiating.

This is why we're talking about penn state v. Wisconsin, although now I'll talk penn state since they won. You've always heard me talk how overrated the big 10 is. It doesn't mean they're a bad conference but the committee is up their ass. It's from Ohio state and Michigan. They suck these two teams dicks whenever possible. To support their logic to make these teams look just as good as Alabama, they overrate the entire conference so when they succeed it means osu and mich are super good. Look at Nebraska being labeled top 10 when we all knew they sucked beating nobodies. They tried to do it to Miami too, but Miami had to play Florida state, unc, Virginia tech, and Clemson back to back. Miami was #10 too, but no one in the big 10 had to go through a stretch like that. The big 10 teams just eventually drop games to nobodies and they simultaneously overrate the wins(because the big 10 is really good) and downplay the losses(because the big 10 is really good). But it backfired. Neither osu or Michigan won the big 10 championship, not even the historical 3rd or 4th best teams in recent years, Wisconsin and Michigan state. So do they go by the narrative that the big 10 is SO great we've been getting fed and let penn state in(beat osu, playoff contender lost to Michigan playoff contender beat Wisconsin then lost to Pittsburgh the only team to beat Clemson, and are conference champs) or suck off Ohio state.

Top 4 are what you'd think. UNC v Stanford , Florida v Iowa, and Georgia v tcu. For 3 teams that have underperformed, some of this is expected. NC v Stanford sounds about right. Stanford has underperformed and nc dropped their last 2 games to state and duke ending 8-4. Whatever. But if I were an Iowa fan I'd be jumping up and down to face the gators. Sorry sarge I think you got the short end of the stick with these 3 match ups. I'd honestly be more pissed if unc got Iowa than Stanford. The rankings are bullshit... could say a lot about strength of schedule in this matter. Georgia tcu, id be a disappointed bull dogs fan if I were in this one and an excited horned frogs fan. It doesn't matter if it's warranted or not, it's just a lesser shittier end of the stick than the gators got.

It just sucks because I was going to attend the nc bowl game had it been in Orlando like it should've been(russel athletic bowl, and the uhh something else bowl both held before the citrus bowl) but they gave it to Miami West Virginia. I am going to be in Florida for that time so it sucks. Back to back losses against shitty opponents will fuck you at the end of the season. Now NC's bowl game is in El Paso.

UGA vs TCU in a bowl game? I ain't upset by that. UGA's gonna get stomped into the dirt in all liklihood, and I STILL love it, haha! I'm still pissed that they basically fired Mark Richt. Kirby Smart is a joke of a head coach compared to Richt, and the more he loses the big ones, even the who-fucking-cares pre-New-Years bowl games like this one, the sooner they can fire him and find someone else better... or worse. I gotta imagine the suits at UGA ain't real happy with him. Like I said at the start of the season, they were most likely expecting a regular season record of 10 wins 2 loses or better this year. And that DEFINITELY didn't happen. People are now saying, "Nick Chubb? Who the fuck is he?" If I'm the AD at UGA, I'd wanna see my new coach with 2x more wins than loses MINIMUM in his first year, ie 8-4 at WORST. Instead they're 7-5.  That loss to Georgia Tech was the one that would have me upset as hell. NO Georgia coach in the last 40 years has lost to Tech in his first season. It's a bad omen.

The FLA/Iowa game will be a typical Gator game.  The defense will do its best to carry them, and may score some points, but in the end the defense will play well but will give up to many points late in the game and FLA will lose the game.

Lmao. You're probably right, but it's still be a fail for Georgia. Giving Iowa to Florida is WAY worse though I think. I was just comparing our 3 local teams' bowl games and unc seems to have gotten the better deal, with Florida having an over all edge on the 3 teams with the worse deal. Georgia also has a head to head win on nc although I know they're not really using that comparison. NC beat Pittsburgh(who beat Clemson and penn state) and Fsu so I guess that's carrying them despite 2 terrible losses at the end.

Well, yeah. Sort of. UNC's terrible weak point has always been their run defense. You could argue that mccaffrey would have exploited this weakness more so, or you could say that it doesn't even matter their run D is that bad and that's the main factor. It's probably a mixture of both but one thing's for sure if Stanford wins they will have done it without mccaffrey and if unc wins it'll be because mccaffrey wasn't present. It's a shame he's not playing. At least four Fournette had an excuse that his injury recovery wasn't quite 100%. I can see it from mccaffrey's side but that mentality is hurting bowl games. I think they rated unc Stanford as the 9th or 10th biggest game.

UNC's defensive line has about a 15% chance of showing up or so. The first half against Florida state they shut them out and allowed dalvin cook very few yards.
