WallFly broken? Goto and invite not working

The WallFly goto and invite commands are no longer working on Whale, probably for a couple weeks now.

GOTO and INVITE are not working correctly at The Alamo WoD 7.51

I have already messaged Quadz about it.

You CAN "goto alamo" ok, but you can not "goto" other servers from The Alamo (most of the time).

You can also connect by IP: 74.201.57.86:27910

INVITE just does not work.

Yes, WallFly requires q2admin features for goto/invite to work.

when i try to make q2admin. i get this error.

Are you running a 64-bit Q2 server? Or 32-bit?

Our binaries here are compiled for 32-bit:

If you really need 64-bit we may need to tweak the Makefile a bit.

Beaver, where did you get your q2admin source?

I recommend using the git repository:

git clone https://github.com/tastyspleen/q2admin-tsmod

It also uses the -fPIC option.

See if that builds OK  for you.

Both the repo version and the one in the TS archive build OK on my systems.

Edit: the TS version builds x86_64 library, the GIT repo builds I386 (32-bit) library.
If you use the TS version from the archive supplied you'll need to modify lines 8 and 9 of the Makefile to read:

CFLAGS  = -m32 -O2 -fPIC -ffast-math -w -DGAME_INCLUDE -DLINUX -DSTDC_HEADERS -I/usr/include
LDFLAGS = -m32 -ldl -lm -shared

i made that edit and it worked

its running on the server now.

i added

 to q2admin.txt in both the root q2dir and the ctf directory but the goto and invite features still arent working?

Make sure the following are set in your q2admin.txt:

say_person_enable "Yes"

chatbanning_enable "Yes"

i was testing n got sidetracked forgot to turn it back on.

its up n running now. i changed both of those to "Yes"

the goto and invite! still not working
